Hi, I'm ttamttam, I go by Matthew Salerno in the real world. I first started using ttamttam in the early 2000s as a handle for NeoPets (remember NeoPets?). Since then I've been fighting every other Matt, Matthew, and Matthias who thought it was a good idea to make their username their name backwards twice. Fortunately, I won the fight, since you can't get more official than ttamttam.com!

I got my education in computer engineering although these days you'll see me doing more high level stuff than microcontrollers and verilog. By day I work a desk job doing software development at company. By night I enjoy long walks on the beach (actually), spending time with friends, and working on my homelab. I also do a bunch of necessary things I don't enjoy, but don't we all? I'm an avid NixOS user and you might catch me on the forums there. But watch out! Someone else got to ttamttam before me on the Nixos forums 😔. Most of the software I work on is proprietary locked down stuff made for my employer, but I do make projects in my free time which survive to see the light of day.
